Our Wedding

Jackson and Ife began a long-distance relationship in July, 2025 after meeting at a conference. Over the course of many long phone conversations, layovers, flights, and drives between Kelowna, British Columbia, and Moscow, Idaho, their relationship deepened. In November of 2025 Jackson surprised Ife by proposing while she was visiting Idaho with her parents for Thanksgiving. They are both very grateful to God for the kindness He has shown in bringing them together.

Itinerary

9:00 AM – Traditional Yoruba Wedding CeremonyOur day will begin with a traditional Yoruba wedding ceremony, a joyful and meaningful celebration honoring God, family, heritage, and union.Location: Trinity Reformed ChurchTentative end time: 10:30 AM10:30 AM – Light Appetizers &amp; Transition TimeFollowing the Yoruba ceremony, light appetizers will be served while the bride and groom change attire and take photographs.1:00 PM – Church CeremonyThe formal church wedding ceremony will begin at 1:00 PM.Location: Trinity Reformed Church2:00 PM – ReceptionThe reception will follow the church ceremony, with a tentative start time of 2:00 PM.Location: Christ Church Meeting Hall(Christ Church Meeting Hall is a short drive from Trinity Reformed Church.)6:00 PM – Evening Wind DownAs the evening draws to a close, we will begin winding down the celebration.7:00 PM – FarewellKindly note that the venue must be cleared by 8:00 PM, as the church will be preparing for Sunday services the following day. We appreciate your understanding, and we thank you for celebrating with us so fully!
